The HTEC-TAMU center also supports other faculty across TAMU campus to fabricate unique prototypes for their research/inventions. Our undergraduate student workers are benefit when applying what they learn and exposing to research activities.

• Design and manufacture of microturbine. A joint project with Mechanical Engineering Department.
• Design and manufacture of hybrid cardiovascular stent. A joint project with Biomedical Engineering Department.
• Design and manufacture of hybrid microgrippers.
• Laser micromachining/joining of 316L stainless steel.
• Micromillling of 316L stainless steel.
